Yard-signs: the new Cleaned by Pete employee

Yard-signs working hard to get the sign right before printing. Most who follow my blogs I like that employe that keeps working hard and gets paid very little. The investment in some new yard sign is in order. While working a couple of weeks ago for one of our regular customers, that we clean and house wash for, they deal with buy and selling homes. Seeing their sign I started to come up with this idea for a new yard sign using their sign as a guide line for my new sign.  This is their sign:

Yard-signs seem to be that great employee for me. I use them while on jobs that I do then I can leave them there to keep working. The older signs are starting to show some ware. Time to hire some new employees to stand proud and promote what I do. Working 24/7 in all types of weather what more can you ask for? These are some signs I've used over the years, some are better than others but most have brought me returns.

A Cleaned by Pete yard sign used in the past, was retired after it was involved in a hit and run accident when a car ran-over it in a yard.

Promotional sign we use for a while it still finds use at fairs and expos.

But now for the new crop of employees this is the interview period I would guess. Seeing what one will be the best fit and will work for us in the future. Which one has the most promise for the company.

Playing around and working on getting the yard signs ready for printing. As always I have do make a bunch of different formats and get the ideas down in the computer. Then get the idea of what makes the best look and what everyone likes. Then tweak them around a bit. So here are the profs for the signs so far.

Why did I base my sign on one of my customers signs? Well I have seen this sign in and around town and it always attracts attention and is very visible. Using the yellow color as the background, with standard black lettering I thought we'll see what it can do for Cleaned by Pete. Keeping it simple has been my advertising agenda for years.

Cosmetic Cleaning, a House Wash, and Another House Wash

Cosmetic Cleaning, a House Wash, and Another House Wash

Since returning for the washing in Kansas last week we have hit the ground running. Trying to get in these last cleanings before the next round of winter blows into the Qzarks. It has always been said if you don't like the weather here in the Ozarks just wait about a half-hour it'll change.

Here are a few pictures of the cleanings we did so far this week the metal building is in Nixa MO, the brick home here in Springfield MO and the vinyl home is in Republic. Cleaned by Pete has a wide area of coverage with different washing services. If you need power washing or just that soft touch with no ladders for your home call us for a free prompt estimate, 417-459-7869.

The brick home

the customer wanted the brick cleaned, mold and mildew removed and to see if we could lighten up the red stains at the bottom of the home.

You can see dark yellowish and green areas on the surface of the brick and a dark red stain at the bottom. Before cleaning

Sometimes you can not get out all of the staining. This will take an application of some special rust removal product to finish which the homeowner is to apply after drying.

11/21/13 we can add one concrete cleaning to the list. Cleaned one of the locations of a "burger chain" that we do, tonight. Drive thru from one side of the store to the order area and onto the pick-up window, front entrances, sidewalks, back door landing, cooler and storage area, rear side walk and sidewalk leading to the dumpster pad. Just beat the winter front moving in by a few minutes, temps dropped form 51 to 35 from when we left till we returned and the wind          really kicked up along with the drizzle. Beat old man winter on this one.
